X-EMPIRE is a modern metal project founded by Michel Villares in 2011 π€.
Mixing groove, progressive, metalcore and djent, the band blends heavy chug riffs with aggressive and melodic vocals
πΈπ₯. After the acclaimed single End of Times (2014), the full album GRIEF was released in 2017, featuring Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within) on Let It Die
π€. In 2019, X-EMPIRE returned with a cleaner, modern sound fully produced by Michel. Tracks like Hard to Breathe (mixed/mastered by Clancy), Paralyzed, My Demons and Replacing (with Ricky Franco on extra keys/arrangements πΉ) received strong feedback and high-quality videos
π₯. An acoustic EP followed, marking another evolution. Currently on an indefinite hiatus, the band hints at returning as Michelβs solo endeavor. Listen on all platforms and Bandcamp π΅π.
