Description

We're a high energy, funked up, improvisational, married acoustic duo! Jenae projects love and passion through her natural, yet powerful, jazz-infused vocals, while simultaneously playing backbeat grooves on a slap-top cajon. Combined with Jay's percussive, creative, and sophisticated guitar style, and making use of live looping, we create a sound that one would expect from a full band.

Our music is authentic, deeply felt, and always live!  It seems to us that the human element of improvisation is missing from most modern music, and we intend to bring that experience to every stage.

It's getting harder and harder in today's world for people to have the courage to go after their dreams, live the life they were meant to live, and thusly discover the best version of themselves. We believe that this is the most important lesson we can teach our children. It's our intent to teach them through experience; lead by our example.
