Description
The University of Michigan-Flint, founded in 1956 as the Flint College, began as a two-year branch of the University of Michigan intended to offer affordable, quality liberal arts education. By 1965, it evolved into a four-year regional institution and remains an important part of U-M’s three-campus system today. With five schools and colleges—Arts, Sciences and Education; Health Sciences; Innovation and Technology; Management; and Nursing—UM-Flint champions excellence in teaching, scholarship and community engagement, fostering diverse learners and committed global citizens. Sometimes in life, where you’re going depends on where you go. UM-Flint: Where Success Leads.
