Toho be taking risk in other media, but can’t even bother to make a new Godzilla game or remastered Pipeworks trilogy games before Toho announced their IP expansion plan. They better make the new Godzilla console game good and not being a lame strategy game

I don't know, I would be interested in a traditional series. But I think of all formats anime is the best to go crazy and experiment

I'm glad Toho is taking risks, but make a generic superhero anime is taking a risk in the wrong direction. But it hasn't come out yet, so maybe, maybe it might actually be decent.

6:20 I'm confused on this part. If they know traditional kaiju action would succeed, why can't they do that while also experimenting? If they did that, then they would at least have some success in case their experiments failed and they did a lot.

Hey I think the comment of the live action movies drying up might have been mine as I stated that in the previous G anime vid. So if it is the one u read, thx for the shoutout! I agree for the most part considering that those MV films and the -1.0 universe are not going to last forever and there is still a strong chance that TOHO could be in a financial bind so u rlly need to play ur cards right since I worry the live action films could cannibalize that traditional, class Godzilla anime if they cover too similar ideas. Essentially don't put all your eggs into 1 basket and save ur hand for the best possible play.

I know humans are a big part of the Godzilla franchise, really.

I've seen people discuss about the possibility of a human who gains the power of godzilla way before this anime was announced and even seen fan fics and read a webtoon about it now we got it and people are complaining about it. Insanely right there. It might be good it might be terrible as long as it's executed well enough and as long as it's not a typical shonen story with likeable characters unlike the anime trilogy or too confusing like singular point i think we're ok. Let's wait and see

The problem for me, is Toho doesn't start off with a classic monster brawler. Had they started off with a traditional Kaiju(s) of the week/movie series, then I think there would have been more interest in these new and divergent series.

Like the other fans I do have some concerns about this but I'm willing to give it a chance I'll save my judgment until I hear more information about it.Don't get me wrong I fully understand trying to do something different with the IP many other franchises have done the same thing I think for Godzilla hitting anime territory maybe toho should have done traditional Godzilla stories first then try to experiment but that's just my opinion. I hope this anime turns out well
