Australian Rock band Love Child combines influences from both sides of the Atlantic, infusing the UK and American influences whilst adding a blues edge to the mix. It is Soulful, Powerful yet raw with a very commercial sound.
The band have proved themselves time and again as seasoned performers on a live platform and recently played at the Australian Blues Music Festival.
The band is; Steve Hancock, (Vocals/Harp) -Guitarist Dennis Val - Garry Daglish on Bass and James Pool on Drums.
Late 2016 saw the release of Love Child’s 2nd album “A Whole Lotta Sassy” (which followed their debut “Circus in Town”) out now on iTunes through Laneway Music. Produced by Sammy Kannis “A Whole Lotta Sassy” and numerous tracks charted on American Indie network radio.
In 2018 the band released “Lose Your Way” by producer Craig Porteils (Terence Trent Darby/ Billy Idol) and this was instantly added to high rotation in the Southern Belt region of the USA.
2019 saw the release of ‘You Broke Me’ produced by Mark Opitz (Cold Chisel/INXS/AC-DC).
2020 release of ‘With These Hands’ also produced by Mark Opitz
December 2020 "Punching Bag" to be released.
