After a double lung transplant in 2019, I (thankfully) carried on with my life wanting more than just my next breath. Being a Black, queer, disabled, non-binary womxn has made that difficult but my life up to then and now has never been described as easy.
Here for a good time and possibly not a long time, I'm determined to leave a legacy that speaks to the necessity and healing powers of love and creativity working in tandem. To share the full scope of the life I’ve curated for myself.
A life where tears and laughter match each other bar for bar.
A life where loving and being loved has always been a top priority.
A life where the ability to make things is as essential as the ability to breathe.
I've been documenting my life through honesty and with every creative medium I can, to prove to myself that alongside the very real everyday struggles I have faced and still face, this life is one worth living.
