Actual Fandom is an ideal to aspire to, for all of us to engage in appreciation and criticism of the things we love - in a constructive, healthy way. It's the antithesis of anti-fandom, which is anti-social, toxic, and destructive - not only of the media and its creators, but of the Self.

Fandom=community built around the appreciation of a thing.
Anti-fandom=community dedicated to tearing down a thing.

Ambassadors. Not gatekeepers.
Mindfulness + Humanism instead of mindless consumerism.
We can enjoy & be critical of media without being loyal to corporations.
