Axemax, Manhattan, Wild Nature ... This guy has many alter egos but now he's coming to the scene most purely - as Axel Vindenes himself. The lead singer and guitarist of Norway's energetic indie export Kakkmaddafakka hits the streets in 2020 with his all-new self titled solo project.

"I had the wish to do this kind of music for a long time", says Vindenes. With his new stuff, he created modern pop music with a slight touch of the golden times of the 70s and 80s. Vindenes has managed to wrap the sounds of the past in a modern electronic guise. With his debut single "Yesterday" Vindenes tells the story of broken love. Right in the first few bars of that vibrant pop tune, Vindenes catches you with his distinctive voice. Shallow melancholy meets confidence for better times.
