Ruaidhri Mannion is an Irish composer, sonic artist and producer based in London, originally from Belfast. He was awarded his Doctorate in Composition from the Royal College of Music, London. He is Head of Music at Brunel University London, where he teaches music technology, musicology and composition. Ruaidhri combines his output in contemporary classical music and electronic music with his work as a songwriter/producer for internationally-acclaimed rap and r&b artists on Warner Chappell/Atlantic Records. Credits and collaborations include singles with iconic and award-winning artists such as d.a. got that dope, Kodak Black, Gang51e June, Tee Grizzly, NLE Choppa and 24kGoldn.
Recent highlights of his contemporary classical and electronic works include two commissions for strings, live electronics and live projections for the London Symphony Orchestra Soundhub at LSO St Luke’s, and performances by FUKIO Saxophone Quartet supported by the KULTURStiftung NRW in Cologne, Germany.
