The Volunteer Ministers Association is a registered non-profit organization and section 18A public benefit organization in South Africa and is an accredited training provider with the South African Council of Educators (SACE) and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).

Internationally, the Volunteer Ministers is the one of the largest volunteer based community development and disaster response organization in the world with over 2.1 million volunteers across more than 190 countries.
The motto is “Something can be done about it.” Accordingly, in addition to traveling to wherever disaster strikes, Volunteer Ministers work with public servants in their own communities and helping to improve conditions.

As part of ongoing community engagement and skills development training, VM Africa provides the Tools for Life Free online courses, a structured life skills training. They are practical solution to social challenges and youth development with testimonials.
