Description
(V)owls: a psychedelic folk band from Gainesville, Florida.
We are a group of artists and musician/songwriters that have come together to share our individual and collective messages through our musical performance, while doing what we love and creating powerful art.
(V)owls started in 2016 at a local coffee shop’s open mic night. Starting as a soulful stringed duo on a small stage, we have now grown to a five piece band including drums, bass, guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, and hip hop/freestyle. Our shows are comprised of mostly original music (while we do throw a couple covers in now and then), accompanied by colorful, nature inspired, psychedelic art back drops (original art by Amy and Russ), and coupled with a sense of familiarity and Home.
