I retired in 2013 and 72 years old. My craft now is diamond painting since 2017. I shop the sales as I just live on social security so have limited funds for this craft. I also enjoy knitting. I live in a studio apartment in rural Salem Oregon with my bff (best furry friend) Ellie who is a pitbull/lab and 11 years old. I have had her since the second she was born. Oh my gosh.. the power may go out.. let's make coffee and get our diamond painting square for the day done.... ya know, most people would be plugging in phones, power banks, checking flashlight batteries, getting water in spare containers.. but not us diamond painters... we think caffeine and canvases.. LOLOL There is a mobile vet in the Salem area (Pampered Pawz) which makes life easier, but it is more spendy. GG's bath and lion cut in the summer costs the same as my hair appointment to color my hair! LOL... but it's worth it since cats (at least my cats) do NOT like traveling in the car... LOL
