He actually took all of the put aside funds for local Philly filmmakers instead of letting it go to unestablished filmmakers who actually needed the money. (This was recently, so long after he was a well-known director). He's been barred from getting it since. So. He's not so great for the area as it seems and doesn't seem to care about other indie filmmakers based on his actions. Just something to know when defending him.
