Analog tape is great, until you need to recalibrate it. Pro tip: make a calibration tape now while the machine is working properly, so you can use the calibration tape to fix it when it breaks. 1 kHz tones on each channel for level matching. 10 kHz for azimuth. Pink and white noise.

The lowest speed in the Extreme Slow Down section reminds me of the organ note when the MGM logo appears right at the start of 2001: A Space Odyssey. For me this is a "good thing" as it's my favourite movie!
