Hi folks, we are Jim and Josie of Ozark Mountain Goats. After many years of planning and working in the city, we finally made our move to 27 acres in the beautiful southern Missouri Ozarks
.
With the sale of our home in Illinois and money from savings, we were able to build a house here and reach our goal of being completely debt free!

We’ve enjoyed gardening and canning for years so to remain financially independent we endeavor to grow and preserve much of our own food along with fishing and hunting. Our next big step is adding Nigerian Dwarf goats to our homestead in early 2020.

Please follow us as we prepare for their arrival including building our goat barn and enclosing a pasture. We will share our gardening, canning and preserving experience with you along with growing our homestead and enjoying life with goats!

We will try to post videos a couple times a month. Thank you so much for sharing some of your time with us.
