You need to know the truth in order to properly understand everything that happens nowadays. We need to know our heroes and enemies and realize the price of our independence. Our statehood was taken away from us, and we fought for it with blood. Our lands were part of various empires, we were erased as a nation, but now we are one of the largest democratic states in Europe, which has much to be proud of and is known throughout the world. No matter where we were born — in Kyiv or Lviv, Donetsk or Odesa — or where we live — in Warsaw, Vancouver, or New York — we have one real history.
