Polish Aid

Description

‘Polish aid’ consists of development and humanitarian activities implemented in selected developing countries by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions, in cooperation with Polish non-governmental organisations, public administration, local government units and universities. ‘Polish aid’ also includes educating the Polish public about global interdependencies and challenges (so-called global education) faced by countries on their way to development. Poland, through development cooperation, contributes to building a more sustainable world for present and future generations. The activities undertaken serve to support partner countries in achieving sustainable development goals. The priority countries for Polish aid are currently ten - four within the Eastern Partnership: Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, Belarus in support of civil society, and six in Africa and the Middle East: Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal, Lebanon and Palestine.
