Before Guy Arthur ever touched music, he nearly lost the ability to hear it. As a kid, an inner ear infection took him months to recover from. He defied the odds, and it's been full send ever since.
He started producing at seven years old, self-taught on nothing but instinct and stubbornness. Dropped out of high school for it. Spent nine years building a different project before burning it down in 2018 and starting over as Guy Arthur, with one rule: no rules. Whatever genre feels right, as long as it's done well.
No gatekeepers deciding what's worth hearing. Just a producer making music for the one listener he can't fool: himself.
