Computer Generated Music created by using the Schism Tracker, and before that I used the Impulse Tracker coded by Jeffrey Lim. I utilize 16 bit stereo Wav file samples as instruments. The "Stereo Mix" feature of Audacity is a terrific way to sample just about anything playing on your computer. Then use the fantastic Audacity utility to tweak those samples with Effect features and possibly create a whole new sound.

I started using the Impulse Tracker back in 1998. The first digital music player I came across was the Modplug Player. I was amazed by how good some of the music sounded. By remixing other Tracker's works, I learned how to use the Impulse Tracker. I did not like having to use DOS for IT. Schism Tracker for Windows is much better! The control a person has over a tracker provides wide open creativity filled with imagination. Nice!
