Franco Pisciotta
Born into a family of musicians, Franco Pisciotta began his musical studies at an early age under the guidance of his father. He continued his training by studying double bass with Alfredo Brandi and conducting with Bruno Campanella at the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence.
He also studied composition with various teachers and later continued his development as a self-taught composer.
He was a member of the Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and subsequently taught Theory at the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence.
His compositional output includes works for the stage, orchestra, and chamber ensembles. He also worked as a film arranger for “Pressing” in Bologna.
As a conductor, he directed various symphonic ensembles in Italy and abroad, developing an extensive artistic career in symphonic and theatrical music.
