Description

JoeLectrick, alter ego of filmmaker Joe Fiorello. Born and raised in New York, JoeLectrick started playing music at a young age, attempting to do jazz saxophone and hard rock guitar until his college years when he turned more to writing and filmmaking.

It was after relocating to Hong Kong and connecting with fellow filmmakers that also produced electronic music that he was introduced to the sounds of old school Detroit Techno and Chicago House. Since then Joe has pivoted back to music and has spent the last 3 years performing live hardware shows, producing original music and remixes for compilation albums.

JoeLectrick's style leans more towards techno, house, and acid, but he even dabbles in vaporwave and synthpop. He tends not to try to fit into specific genre conventions, usually letting inspiration take him and his music productions to unexpected places.
