Description

A. Tanzadeh, born in 1960, began Karate training in 1972 at age 12 and earned his Shodan in 1977. He holds multiple 8th Dan ranks from JKF Shitokai, World Shitoryu Karate-Do Federation, Karate Canada, and World Karate Federation, awarded in recognition of decades of achievement and leadership. A former member of the Iranian National Team, national coach, referee, examiner, and author, he later trained extensively in Japan from 1990 to 1993 under leading masters and earned notable international competition results. Since immigrating to Canada in 1996, he has continued to lead the growth of Shitoryu Karate through teaching, officiating, technical development, and international service. He is currently President, Founder, and Technical Director of Shitoryu Karate Canada, Secretary General of the Pan-American Shitoryu Karatedo Federation, and Vice Chairman of the World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation.
