85 Decibels/dB is four friends and classmates - Kalliyan, Daniel, Jake, and Zack who are passionate about music. How did we come up with the name? Sound pressure is measured in decibels (dB). If a person is exposed to sound over 85 dB for a prolonged period, it can cause permanent damage. We like to think of "85 dB" as the borderline between safety and danger.
