Evan's Backpacking Videos
Description
My backpacking bio: I've thru-hiked the Benton MacKaye Trail, the Sheltowee Trace in Kentucky, the Appalachian Trail, the Colorado Trail, the Foothills Trail, the Georgia Loop, and the Bartram Trail.
Gear: Generally, a lightweight system. I did the A.T. with a tarp, not a tent; no sleeping pad; no trekking poles; and in sandals. And it worked!
This channel: I removed many of the older videos. If you're looking for something specific, email me. I'm not updating it much. For more about me, see www.evanschaeffer.com -- currently, I fly airplanes or gliders pretty much every day.
