Hi there! My name is Melissa and I'm basically a Gilmore. I read and write as much as Rory, shop like Lorelai, and drink wayyy to much coffee! When I'm not reading, I am revising the first draft of my story.

This channel is all about books, writing, and occasionally bullet journaling!

History of this channel: In 2013 I met a bunch of amazing women during a Bout of Books read-a-thon twitter chat and we started this YouTube channel. That's why the URL is BookBFF because our love of books is what made us connect and become friends. Over time as everyone became busy with life, two of us, Lindsay and myself, kept making videos. Now it is just me (unless Lindsay wants to come back!!). I considered starting a new channel altogether, but I wanted to keep this one going since it has a special place in my heart.
