You can find Ramey's detailed biography on Wikipedia, but it's largely over-exaggerated. I will only say that throughout his "legendary" career in opera ✨ that spanned over four decades, he contributed to the modern school opera singing, he would need microphones 🎤 to enhance his voice in the theatre, not to mention singing the bass repertoire with a fake bass voice.
