Nicola Benedetti is one of the most sought-after violinists of her generation. Nicola was just awarded her first-ever GRAMMY® for Best Classical Instrumental Solo for her recently released recording of the Wynton Marsalis Violin Concerto with the legendary Philadelphia Orchestra and conductor Cristian Măcelaru on Decca Classics. She had the honor of performing live on the 2020 GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony® where she collected her award in person. Her performance, which marked the first classical solo violin appearance on the Premiere Ceremony® in over 10 years, was streamed live internationally via GRAMMY.com.

A dedicated educator and advocate for music education, Nicola founded the Benedetti Foundation in 2019.
