Professor Paul Schmitt's art is the modern skateboard and the innovations he's introduced from the late 70's to today. He has been continually designing and building skateboard products since 1978, creating the canvases on which skaters have developed the artistic maneuvers that defined the culture through the years.

Paul's creations have empowered skaters to express their skatetivity, the physical creativity that is the heart of skateboarding. Paul is a DIY Maker and Tinker who has build over 19 million skateboards in his factories over his career, and is know for his dedication to designing and building the highest quality and most durable skateboards.

For his achievements, Paul was inducted into the Skateboard Hall of Fame in 2020 and through several generations of skateboard culture has been known as Professor Schmitt, the visionary inventor of the modern skateboard.
