Description
I have been an avid collector of Seeburg 1000 9-inch-records for decades
and think it would be a shame not to share these treasures.
I don't use noise filters after digitizing the records.
The reason is not the additional effort,
rather it is the already poor audio quality that a 16 2/3 rpm record has,
which I don't want to limit even more by cut out frequencies
with noise and scratch filters.
I digitize the mono records (e.g. Seeburg 1000) with a mono cartridge
(Ortofon 2M Mono) on a Technics Sl-1210 M5G.
This gives me two identical mono tracks.
Afterwards I shift the two mono tracks by 0.015 seconds to each other.
This gives me a nice stereo effect while keeping the original mono on both tracks (R & L).
If someone doesn't like that (for example, if you listen to music with headphones),
you can set your system to mono and select one channel (R or L)

Thank you very much for this
