My name is Dawn Takacs, and I've been a pattern maker and seamstress for more than 35 years. In the 90's I owned a small sewing factory where we made swimsuits and shipped them worldwide. For a few years, I also worked as a seamstress in a drapery factory. Currently, I own an entertainment company that provides casino themed entertainment called Elite Casino Events. While I'm in a different field now, my old love always comes back to help me create elite worthy costumes for our entertainers!

Since the pandemic of COVID-19 hit, most of our private and corporate parties have been postponed or canceled. So, I began right away, sewing masks to donate and making my unique streamline seamstress patterns. At this time, I realized that my sewing tricks from my years in the factories might help others. So I decided to bring my tips and hacks to YouTube to share with you. My goal is to help all of you save time, money, and energy while you create beautiful gifts for your community and family.
