About The Host: Mark Courts is a walleye and bass angler, promoter, and advocate for the sport of fishing with over 28 years of experience in competitive and recreational angling. Based in Harris, Minnesota, he has built a strong reputation for tournament success, industry leadership, and a passion for advancing the sport.
Mark’s latest role is host and co-owner of Lake Commandos, stepping into leadership after Steve Pennaz retired following 13 successful years. Steve, a good friend and outstanding host, set a high standard for the brand. Mark considers it an honor to carry on that legacy and continue the work Steve built while bringing his own experience and passion to the next chapter of Lake Commandos.
