Claro is a Filipino musician and composer based in Sydney. He began playing piano at a young age. Piano and vocals remain his main instrument, but he is able to play others, including guitar, bass, ukulele, saxophone, harmonica, percussion, and drums, just to name a few. Off-stage, Claro is a shy and reserved individual, but when he steps on stage, he transforms into a dynamic and engaging performer who is eager to entertain and inspire his audience.

Claro's musical journey began early, as he sang his first notes at the tender age of 8 months old. Claro was born visually impaired. One of Claro's unique abilities he was born with is his perfect pitch, the ability to accurately identify and reproduce any musical note without reference. He was also born with a form of synesthesia known as "Chromesthesia", a condition in which he experiences visual sensations in response to hearing music.
