Description

This is a channel to prototype some musical thoughts and connect with similarly minded folks around the globe. To "zoom-into" styles of music, sounds, that are more local to non-Albertan regions, I transcribe (that is, notate the music) of players, such as Etta Baker or John Fahey; those transcriptions are posted on my personal website, and they are public. From earlier times, there are video tutorials, that are still posted here, going over the music of players such as Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, and others. To the viewers of those 'archival' videos, as well as the viewers of recent videos, I owe so much, for steering me onto this path of roots music. It has helped (and still helps) so much for me to discover those captivating sounds.
