I'm Bex, a self-taught visual artist from Scotland. Primarily working with watercolor and oil paints, I love experimenting with vibrant colours, limited palettes and bold brushstrokes. I paint, create videos and produce art tutorials in my home studio. I also like to create digital art now and again using Clip Studio Paint and Rebelle 5. When I work digitally I tend to push myself further out of my comfort zone and try new techniques. I have the messiest sketchbooks and firmly believe that's how it should be, mistakes are fun and the best way to learn!

I really enjoy focusing on art fundamentals particularly the study of values and colour theory in art. Most of my work is heavily inspired by nature, although, now and then I enjoy painting cartoons and other nerdy stuff.
