Meditation in public is an experiment for both people around and the artist. He puts himself to extreme conditions for practice on purpose. Being peaceful, sitting quite with eyes closed, he is a challenge for society.
It turns out that the silent presence can be uncomfortable for passers-by. However the way people react to meditation is a reflection of their thoughts and emotions. One ignores, the other laughs and sympathizes, the third explodes with aggression. Whatever happens, the artist is not involved in the situation, he allows people and events to manifest themselves.
