All of my musics was made in FL Studio with 3x OSC plugin (perfect for creating triangle, saw, sine and square wave sounds) and other plugins like Tb_Peach, Basic64, and more...
Adding some effects like reverb, delay, bass boost, etc...

About MIDI files;
yes, most of my musics are made from these!
but often, I'm obliged to retouch them because it's too fanciful or does not correspond exactly to the original, either because there is no track to replace the voices...
