Over 15 years ago, Dane and JR crossed paths while working at an IT Consulting firm. They quickly bonded over their shared love for movies and started a fun tradition. Each month, they would catch a film at the theater and then gather at their favorite bar to discuss it. When the pandemic struck and theaters closed, they turned to YouTube for entertainment and stumbled upon movie, comic, music, and collectible-related channels they liked. Inspired by their newfound online community, they hatched the idea for Cult Lords, a project that grew from their shared passions.
