Hello I'm Russ Claridy and welcome to my channel.
As a 3rd Generation Carpenter I started wood working at a very young age. My father started teaching me as soon as I could hold a hammer in my hand. In my teens my brother started volunteering as a firefighter and that influence got me hooked. At fifteen I became the first Jr firefighter at our local volunteer fire department (Providence) and at eighteen became a paid professional firefighter. Woodworking was still in my blood and I continued it as a hobby and a second profession. I started as a handyman and later officially it became Russell Claridy Construction Inc a licensed G.C. in the state of Florida.. I also continued doing woodworking as a hobby. Simply Wooden Creations was Est.1980 doing creative woodworking for family and friends.
