LSU’s College of the Coast and Environment (CC&E) offers a friendly and intimate setting where we educate tomorrow’s workforce and leaders, undertake interdisciplinary discovery, and improve the understanding of the interaction between complex human and natural systems, particularly in coastal regions.

Home to award-winning, internationally-acclaimed faculty, CC&E is comprised of two departments, the Department of Oceanography & Coastal Sciences (DOCS) and the Department of Environmental Sciences (DES). Known for our high impact contributions to research and education, our research is conducted on the Mississippi River Delta, the Gulf Coast, and around the world on all continents and oceans.
