What is The Joy of Music?
The Joy of Music is an international television series featuring great sacred and classic masterpieces performed by world-renown artists and ensembles in great cathedrals and concert halls around the world. It is seen here on YouTube, and on television stations throughout North America and in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the former Soviet Union.
But what is the real "Joy of Music"? For me and for other artists featured on the program, it is knowing in a personal way the living Christ and performing our music to His glory.
You may be a great performer who has concertized around the world; you may be an aspiring musician seeking your way; you may be an appreciator of music, a patron of the arts; it doesn't matter who you are or what you do. Jesus says that true joy, success and meaning in life comes from Him.
