Good review dude. I think Avatar: The Way of Water is actually a tad bit better than the 2009 original. It does have some similar beats and familiar messages but I don’t mind that. The theme of family is strong and I like all the Sully Kids and Spider. Quaritch is a better character here too in his new body and unlike the first film he’s getting more developed. The visuals are once again breathtaking and authentic. This looks unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The Metkayina reef is gorgeous and the reef characters are all great and serve their purpose. The action is pretty incredible too. The movie is long but to me earns its run time it is also very emotional in places and Simon Franglen’s music score is good keeping some of James Horner’s themes but incorporating loads of new ones too. See you next time for Fire and Ash
