USAFE - AFAFRICA

Description

The USAFE-AFAFRICA channel provides coverage of U.S. Air Force Airmen and military assets to include aircraft and weapon systems. We also report on USAF partnerships with NATO and DoD directed national defense and humanitarian aid efforts throughout Europe and Africa and in cooperation with Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

Our main operating bases are Aviano AB, Italy; Incirlik AB, Turkey; Lajes Field, Portugal; RAF Lakenheath, England; RAF Mildenhall, England; RAF Alconbury, England; Spangdahlem AB, Germany; and Ramstein AB, Germany.

USAFE-AFAFRICA Mission: To forward project power across air, space and cyber domains, defend United States interests, demonstrate warfighting readiness, and forge strong patnerships in support of United States European Command (USEUCOM) and United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) campaign objectives.
