From Chill Jazz to "Extreme Fretboarding"

I'm a professional musician, living in Vienna / Austria. Born in Germany, I came to Vienna in 1992 to study jazz guitar at the American Institute of Music AIM (great school that unfortunately had just a short time of existence). After that I also made a conservatory diploma and started to play flute (that was a good idea!).

I played mainly jazzrock/fusion music in the 90th, recorded two CDs with my own trio (not for sale anymore), got a jazz award at the jazz festival Ingolstadt (Germany) in 1998. During some years of a different carreer (teaching computer courses /web design, after feeling drained) - I bought an acoustic guitar (luckily that really incredible Cort Custom Shop CJ-CE) and that brought me back to music - fulltime!
