My original microphone was a: M-AUDIO FAST TRACK GUITAR/MIC USB RECORDING INTERFACE

Then I upgraded (June 2012) to a: BLUE YETI USB (not that I knew how to use it properly)

Again, I upgraded (June 2013) to a SAMSON C01 XLR CONDENSER MIC with a M-Audio Fast Track II Avid USB Recording Studio Interface

Nowadays (since late May 2015), I've gotten myself a RODE NT1000 CONDENSER MIC with the same audio interface.
(Yeah, I've owned a lot of mics)
