Description

Pilot Animation Studio presents the first comprehensive animated education and entertainment project – the Mountain of Gems.

In 2005, we started producing animated films based on the folk tales of different peoples that populate Russia – Russian, Tatar, Chechen, Ukrainian, Mari, Armenian, etc.
Each film has a brief introduction (miniature film) at the beginning, which tells the audience about the nation whose fairy-tale the film is based on, about its features and interesting historical and cultural facts. The miniature introduction to each film also tells the viewer about our national emblem and the flag, so that children know it. And in each miniature, we repeat: "There are many nations, but one country". All these simple facts have to be presented to a children's audience in a special way: it has to be interesting, subtle, and understandable. We have succeeded in this, as the ratings of this project prove. The films are made with different techniques (drawing, clay, 2D, and 3D).
