This entire scene is nothing short of romantic and heartfelt. It's definitely that step in the right direction for a full reconciliation next season.

To most people Lucy falling asleep is like but if u think abt it, it shows that she can truly trust Tim bc she couldn’t fall asleep with the noise but with Tim she just gets to rally relax and be vulnerable

I've seen a lot of disappointment and even anger over this scene on the internet but I really liked it. They almost nailed it with Tim's monologue here. He said he wouldn't assume anything about their future, assured her that he's been doing the work to fix his deep seated issues and promised to never hurt her again. The offer to move in with him would be a perfect solution, especially since Lucy can't seem to get enough sleep in her noisy apartment. The tenderness in his eyes when he put the blanket over her and that little forehead kiss just shows how much he loves and cares about her. Hats off to Eric's acting here. The look of excitement and hopefulness turning to a mix of disappointment, sadness and acceptance when he sees her sleeping was nothing short of perfect. The soft 'that was a good try' that he muttered to himself and the promise of 'to be continued' means he isn't giving up on her. I just wish he'd actually say he is sorry for the way he left her, even though it is apparent that he definitely is. If I were Lucy, I would need to hear it too. Regardless, I loved the bittersweetness of this scene. A perfect cliffhanger with a promise of more.

I love them smm the only thing is the words she was looking for this whole season he finally said it then she ends up falling asleep. But chenford season 8!!!!!

The "to be continued" was definitely for us. They're playing with our feelings here. How can I survive until season 8?

It’s so cute, she finally felt safe and comfortable to fall asleep. She was gonna fall asleep regardless, she literally moved one of her pillows.

I think I got jumpscared cuz of the fever dream music, Tim being sentimental, Lucy not even taking one bite of her croissant, and the “to be continued”

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!!! we were so close!!!!!!!!!!!!! if they at least gave us chenford back in this episode, I would’ve called it a win.
