Since 2005, the YouTube channel ydl orphans has been an intimate and poetic chronicle of my daily life, blending video art, performance, and a digital diary. It comprises approximately 400 vignettes with a minimalist aesthetic, imbued with absurdity and melancholy, capturing moments of life and staging simple situations and gestures. I deploy a visual alphabet and a cinematic grammar where reality can tip into fiction. This unfolds as a reflection on memory, identity, and temporality through the exploration of narrative and autobiographical forms in the digital age.
