That monster can actually make it self invisible and teleport around the base, its on purpose not a bug. There are many ingame messages that tell you this, also you can use your cat gun to see it when its invisible

Okay so unpopular opinion. A game doesn't have to innovate on anything to be considered great. We're confusing gameplay novelty with gameplay quality.

In Routine's defense. The dev team stopped developing the game for a while due to a death. Not sure if it was a dev or one of their close ones but I feel like it bears being said.

Having gotten a little over halfway thru the game now, I can say very honestly that a game has not put me this far over the edge since Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I'm talking a stress-induced migraine-level of fear and anxiety. The fact that it mixes in vaporwave/cassette futurism with a setting on the Moon is the icing atop one of the most indulgent, immersive, and nerve-shredding experiences I've had in a long time. ROUTINE is a triumph, in my book.
