NoThese videos span from the 1950s right through to the present day. Many of them feature recreational aviation—a passion shared across several generations of our family.
​The vintage footage comes from my Dad’s collection. He started flying sailplanes in Mount Isa back in 1958 and stayed active through the late 1980s, capturing hours of 8mm home movies and then video along the way. The newer clips were shot on various mobile phones over the years, improving as phone cameras evolved.
​My goal is simple: capture everyday moments as they happen, with minimal editing (though I’ll occasionally add a soundtrack). A few digitized clips came with pre-added music that triggered some annoying copyright claims, but the real point of this channel is making sure this incredible family history isn't forgotten.
