A Night Of Music Benefits a New Liver & Pancreatic Disease Center.
More than 500 people came out to enjoy an evening of live classic rock at the last Night of Music which raised more than $56,000 to benefit the new Lebo-DeSantie Center for Liver & Pancreatic Disease at St Vincent's Hospital in New England. The event which was held at the Westport Country Playhouse in the fall paid tribute to the memory of Keith Lebo and Jim DeSantie. Brother-in-laws who passed away from pancreatic cancer within one year of each other.
Keith Lebo, a lifelong Connecticut area musician who started playing at 14 years old, performing in several bands during his musical career. Keith passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2009 and one year later his brother-in-law, Jim DeSantie passed away from the same disease. Jim was a former Marine and proud of his country. He lived his life according to a high moral standard that never wavered.
